Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Tracking Strategic Subject Matter Expert to support SDA's mission. Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advisory services related to space-based mission capabilities

• Review engineering documents and provide SME support; participate in System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR) type activities

• Manage requirements, budget, and acquisition processes for strategic layer

• Develop and maintain future capability roadmaps through coordination within an organization and with external partners

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders, including members of the DoD, Congress, industry and Allies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or relevant technical discipline

• 10 years directly related experience

• TS/SCI Required; #qinetiqclearedjob

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment.

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Demonstrated experience working across a diverse range of organizations to achieve strategic goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree - Master of Science or higher preferred
