Under the direction and in support of TPMG Executive Leadership, a TPMG Regional Director is accountable for providing leadership for region-wide initiatives and work in one of the following areas: nursing & clinical practice; medical office administrative operations; medical group operations & support; or workforce planning & development.
As a member of the Regional leadership team, shares accountability for ensuring the execution of Northern California's strategy in the areas of quality, service, people, efficiency, reputation and growth.
Represents TPMG interests through participation in regional and program-wide committees & initiatives and partners with KFH/P leadership to ensure alignment with strategic goals & objectives.
Provides leadership, operational expertise and counsel to members of regional leadership teams in the areas of labor relations. May serve as TPMG lead for region-wide labor relations efforts including LMP integration, contract negotiations/interpretations & implementation, depending upon area of focus and accountability of the incumbent.
Promotes a culture of excellent service, quality and efficiency by valuing people, supporting diversity and working in partnership with labor.
In partnership and support of Medical Center leadership, initiates the development and implementation of region-wide approaches and solutions for key areas of operations in support of performance excellence.
Leads major change efforts and collaborates with region-wide leadership on special projects.
In partnership with TPMG Compliance Officer and Associate Executive Director for Quality, ensures alignment of regional and local compliance activities. Acts as operational resource for regulatory and legislative issues.

Minimum seven (7) years of general management experience in a complex, multi-faceted health care setting required.
Minimum three (3) years of experience working with a large physician group practice managing through influence and collaboration.
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
Demonstrated success in leading complex initiatives and projects with experience in the areas such as strategic planning, financial management, quality improvement, project management and human resources management and compliance.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end designing and implementing large system-wide advancements in healthcare.
Evidence of effectively communicating vision, organizational strategy, goals and setting clear direction.
Able to facilitate working agreements and collaborate with physicians and physician leaders across multiple specialties in a highly matrixed environment.
Demonstrated experience and results in quality and performance improvement/LEAN programs.
A champion of innovation and change. Pursues new strategies, processes, technology, and tactics to bring a concept from idea to impact.
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, primary care and KP HealthConnect a plus.
Strong management and influence skills. Experience in growing/developing teams and working through direct reports to achieve results.
Prior experience leading and managing in a complex union/management environment.
