About the Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform watch duties at the Power Plant on campus

• Must have experience in the operation of a 100 psi high pressure steam plant

• Must have experience in the operation of a central chiller plant

• Must have working knowledge of Siemens Building Automation

• Possess suitable judgement to react to changes in plant operations, both planned and unplanned

• Must be able to use employer provided hand tools and diagnostic equipment

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on large boilers and chillers

• Other duties as required

You Should Have

• Must be able to pass and maintain US Capitol Police background check

• Must possess a valid MD 1st class or DC 3rd class license

• OSHA 30

• Able to lift up to forty (40) pounds

• Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet

• Must be able to withstand long periods of walking and standing
