Total Rewards Analyst - HUM000496

Manage the Human Resource progams and provide support in the areas of benefits, compensation and equity programs. Ensure all programs align to the company's strategic goals and maintain the company's competitive position. Analyze and evaluate programs for effectiveness and recommend improvements.

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely administration of HR-delivered programs in partnership with other departments and/or program service providers. Programs include: recognition programs, educational assistance, adoption, Associate Support Fund, Flexible Work Arrangement program, Service Awards, and Scholarship Awards

  • Responsible for the administration of the Deferred Compensation Program

  • Recommend, present and implement new programs when a desired need is determined

  • Assist with the annual merit and bonus cycle, including meeting project milestones, performing audits and user acceptance testing

  • Perform job evaluation process on assigned roles

  • Identify trends, model different processes and recommend solutions

  • Develop and maintain analytical tools, reports and dashboards

  • Proactively research best practices and recommend innovative enhancements/changes as appropriate

  • Create communications to promote awareness and participation in programs

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders (such as associates, HR Business Partners, Payroll, program service providers, etc.)

  • Responsible for the successful management of the recognition programs (such as TDS TOP Award)

  • Ensure policies, procedures, plan documents and operations are up-to-date and in compliance with all organizational policies, state and federal laws and other regulatory agencies

  • Manage program service providers to ensure that agreed upon service levels are met and any issues are promptly addressed

  • Perform analysis and return on investment calculations of programs

  • Keep abreast on competitive engagement programs and develop recommendations for improvements

  • Participates on special projects as needed

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of three years work experience in human resources

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs

  • Attention to detail, proven proofreading skills

  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency

  • Strong work ethic and passion for excellence

  • Strong collaborative focus

  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Excellent customer service orientation, flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player and able to handle multiple projects at once

  • Experience with an HRMS preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying problems, seeking solutions and effectively solving problems

  • Up to 25% travel may be required

Job Overview The Director of Total Rewards is responsible to analyze, design, implement, and report on all compensation, incentive, benefit plans, programs, policies and procedures. Act as champion and change agent by anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value-added HR services for the benefit of teammates. Partner, collaborate and knowledge share effectively with, Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Finance, Senior Management, and other Business Units as needed. Perform due diligence and integration for Mergers and Acquisitions. Manages at least 2 full time exempt direct reports. Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, staff productivity and performance management. Duties and Responsibilities Compensation * Design corporate compensation philosophy, infrastructure, programs, and policies * Provide strategic vision, research and evaluate market pay levels and trends and participate in appropriate surveys to develop programs and pay to best attract, retain and engage talent and support Press Ganey's pay-for-performance strategies and initiatives. * Manage and effectively plan for, communicate and execute on all compensation related efforts through our year-end Merit and Incentive cycle for respective business units. * Lead and drive compensation projects such as market pricing reviews, external survey job alignment and re-organizations to meet all business needs. Benefits * Research and collaborate with health and welfare broker and vendors to improve delivery of the benefits function and identify and implement benefits to increase employee satisfaction. * Evaluate existing and proposed benefits vendor products and tools for alignment with benefits and wellness strategies and for ROI/cost effectiveness. * Develops and continually advances benefit strategies to align with the business and ensure the right mix and offerings are available. * Design, recommend, implement and maintain a variety of Wellness programs. * Oversight of LOA, FMLA, STD and LTD. * Sets the strategic direction on employee health and welfare programs and retirement plans across North America. Benchmark to ensure the plans maintain comprehensive and competitive balance. Ensure compliance with government regulations. * Oversees and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and recommends necessary or suggested changes to management. * Coordinates company benefits with government sponsored programs while assuring company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Compliance and HR Operations * Analyze and adhere to government regulations concerning all pay, compliance and other agreements, while establishing competitive plans. * Develop communication and education for compensation and benefits plans. * Evaluate services that are managed through vendors or internally * Develop and monitor adherence to service level agreements with vendors * Manages the department budget, ensures compliance and addresses variances and other budget concerns. * Lead administration and reporting of our HRIS and employee and manager self-service. Qualifications * A minimum of 8 years' experience in the analysis, design and administration of compensation and benefits programs * 5+ years' experience in a managerial level position * Working knowledge of compensation policies, benefits, practices and procedures. * Requires experience with salary range development, job analysis, management incentive program design and implementation, variable pay program design and implementation, base structure, and benchmarking. * Demonstrated capability in one or more HRIS systems, ideally ADP. * Ability to communicate effectively, orally, in writing, and confidentially with all levels of the organization * Demonstrated data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning new programs * Demonstrated experience coaching and communicating a total rewards culture by partnering closely with stakeholders and key business leaders. * Superior collaboration and communication skills with an executive presence and sound judgement * Strong planning, organizational and change management skills; also, conflict management abilities. * Demonstrated ability to support a fast-growing company with an entrepreneurial spirit; must be comfortable in a creative, flexible (as opposed to highly structured) environment. * A critical thinker with a continuous improvement approach to completing work * Constantly looking for ways to enhance the employee experience * Demonstrated ability to aggressively manage vendors Education * Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline Special Working Conditions * May include working outside of normal business hours during busy times. * Travel required – approx. 15% to various Press Ganey offices.
