Role Summary:

This position will lead the development and execution of the total quality strategy for a specific business focusing on both compliance and product quality. It is responsible for driving total quality metrics for the business, including the Balanced Scorecard, QMS compliance and leading the total quality business reviews with Senior Leadership.

Essential Responsibilities:

Shape the GE Healthcare total operational quality vision which translates into clear strategies and priorities for the modality

Ensure modality and site audit readiness and product compliance withregulations

Lead total quality metrics for the modality and drive adherence and education

Create the total quality strategy for NPI reviews; participate in NPI and PRD reviews

Support and aid in modality adoption of operational excellence improvements

Provide visible people leadership for the organization including hiring and/or developing Quality Assurance, Product Quality, and Product Champion talent

globally

Drive all total quality metrics for the business/region

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience/knowledge)

Very strong professional experience in one or more of the following: product development, quality and regulatory assurance, manufacturing, quality control

and/or servicing in a medical device environment

Ability to handle competing priorities effectively

Master's degree in Business or other related area

Black Belt or Master Black Belt

The successful candidate will support the planning, management, and execution of HCA product line projects and coordinate the efforts of a cross-functional team to deliver milestones according to plan. Requires understanding of antibody labeling to support customers and define system requirements. Essential Responsibilities: * Advise team and customers on antibody labeling best practices * Troubleshoot customer issues regarding imaging and fluorescent labeling * Provide scientific expertise to guide the development of automated staining/imaging workflows * Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project logistics * Work with system users to effectively scope project initiatives and translate scientific needs into system functionality * Assist in the development of technical and scientific specifications by detailing requirements and implementation plans * Perform project cost estimates, budget monitoring, and reporting * Ensure the delivery of quality products by reviewing deliverables as mapped to requirements, develop test cases and report results, and facilitate Operational Readiness Reviews (ORRs) prior to production release deployment * Manage relationships and communications with all project stakeholders including internal customers, external collaborators, and end users in the research community * Perform risk management by identifying risks, risk impacts, risk mitigation and contingencies, and monitoring risks * Work in parallel with the Lead Systems Architect and Lead Engineer Qualifications/Requirements: * BS in Bioengineering or related business * 5 years of progressive, successful experience managing complex projects * 5 years of experience with fluorescently labeled biological imaging * Must possess significant skills in the management of projects in the biomedical research field research field * Candidate must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to brief customer stakeholders * Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills * Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required * Must be willing to work out of an office located in Issaquah, WA * Must be 18 years or older Desired Characteristics: * A Masters degree in a related business, scientific, or technical discipline * Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certify Professional (ACP) certification * Knowledge of the field of bioinformatics and/or cancer genomics, and data science About Us: GE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
