VP - Total Lifecycle Management (TLM) FPSO Market

Position Overview

Responsible and accountable for driving FPSO market segment performance via

  • o Segment leadership in technology and price across value chain
  • o Increase in FPSO market share penetration & profitability, including new sub-segments and pull through business in FPSO
  • o Establishing and maintaining competitive strengths
  • o Delivering highest level of customer satisfaction with key customers & partners
  • o Developing and delivering short-term and long-term FPSO segment strategy
  • o Accelerating development programs & baseline offerings
  • o Delivering with full accountability on cost improvement roadmap for trains
  • o Expediting resolution of roadblocks through efficient network & decision making, spanning through the entire offering lifecycle e.g. execution, spares & services
  • o Creating a seamless customer experience across new units, execution and services
  • o Closely interfaced with C-suite and global organization

Your Responsibilities

  • Establish FPSO market segment leadership

  • Identify FPSO market direction on global and local basis

  • Engage teams horizontally to create FPSO market segment strategy

  • Work seamlessly in a global matrix organization driving overall team performance

  • Conduct periodic review and course correction

  • Evaluate and prioritize customer requirements

  • Generate Customer Value Proposition for each segment

  • Maximize ROI for each customer offering

  • Drive competitive bench marking across value chain

  • Execute strategy and own FPSO segment performance

  • Manage baseline bid creation and execution

  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement

  • Drive excellence in new developments

  • Definition of features for new offerings and timely market introduction

  • Align business cases with stakeholders and identify priority order

  • Ensure periodic review and optimization of business cases against ROI

  • Optimize budget allocation

  • Identify baseline deviations and resulting opportunities for new offerings

  • Drive roll out plan including sales education, communication and customer enrollment

  • Deliver execution and implementation of new offerings

  • Improve bottom-line and customer satisfaction for current portfolio offerings

  • Own baseline offerings

  • Own Bill of Materials, total cost and technical performance of all baseline configurations

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and shortcomings

  • Drive total cost competitiveness along entire life cycle

  • Collaborate with Sales to determine target pricing for all baseline configurations

  • Approve, communicate and roll out baseline updates

  • Establish and drive baseline execution models

  • Drive and control deviations from baseline configurations

  • Support cross-functional bid optimization for strategic / "top10" opportunities

  • Monitor warranty claims and non-conformance cost (NCC) to continually adapt baseline details to improve product KPI (reliability, costs, cycle time, etc.)

  • Systematically manage customer request escalation

  • Drive functional excellence within TLM

o Proactively engage and collaborate with key stakeholders in Sales, Operations, Engineering, Strategy, Marketing and R&D, to identify optimization opportunities

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • University degree: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar field

  • 7-10 years' work experience across portfolio management/ product management/ sales/ marketing/ strategy/ engineering

  • Comprehensive understanding of upstream FPSO market requirements and competitive analysis

  • Adroit communicator from on-ground to executive meetings, with an ability to converse with diverse groups about information as well as inspirational objectives

  • Experienced in change management, with a dexterity in conceptual road maps as well as softer elements of being able to inspire his team

  • Superior interpersonal skills requisite of forming positive working relationships and organizational network

  • Acquired legacy of bringing positive business impact, e.g. managing budget and generating ROI

  • Ability in influencing others without authority, including in a global matrix setup

  • Experience in tackling complex stakeholder structures and eliminating organizational silo's in a global set up

  • Proven ability to take ownership and drive agenda across organization vertically and horizontally based on budget, time and according to specified technical and commercial targets

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain or Business Administration

  • 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas sector/ similar role in another or same industry/ consulting role

  • Understanding of Siemens' products and offerings in the upstream segment, with a perspective on competitive strengths and weaknesses

  • Work experience in O&G is clearly a preference

  • Expertise in functions such as supply chain, technology, R&D, service

  • High emotional aptitude and ability to execute change management by expertly navigating organizational resistance

  • Packaging / sourcing / value chain experience is an asset

  • Promote diversity of ideas, thoughts, cultures and mindsets

Essential Functions: * Lead and ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives, local, state and federal laws, and governing regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities. * Develop and manage facility operating budgets with the goals and objectives addressed for the assigned portfolio. * Provide monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate, track variances and ensure smooth recovery process within established targets. * Achieve cost savings through maximizing utilization of suppliers and preferred vendors/contractors and by identifying additional efficiency opportunities, consistent with goals and objectives. * Develop and oversee annual survey of all assigned facilities based on an established grading program including the mechanical equipment, building shell, interior finishes, energy effectiveness, etc. and develop recommendations for improvements. * Lead the development of the portfolio's facility annual capital plan including infrastructure upgrades and building modifications to ensure the portfolio's future capabilities are maintained. * Lead development of annual sourcing plan, leveraging local services and goods needed to perform day to day operations through 3rd party suppliers.
