The Technical Services team is responsible for maintaining all our shows, rides, attractions and facilities in peak operating condition. Responsibilities

  • Maintains and controls inventories at levels adequate to sustain efficient operations

  • Places special orders for materials and tools based on work orders

  • Fill requisitions, work orders, and requests for materials, tools, and other stock items

  • Distributes and stocks as appropriate

  • Efficiently pick / pack items on demand for staging purposes

  • Quickly and efficiently loads and unloads delivery truck by hand or by use of hand truck

  • Opens and unpacks boxes / containers

  • Verifies accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and style numbers with information on invoice or packing slip and purchase orders

  • Records any discrepancies or damages; receives items into Maximo

  • Sort and store items according to established procedures

  • Maintain computerized inventory records, takes physical count periodically, and checks against inventory control totals using the computer

  • Monitors and maintains inventory accuracy

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable to move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, walk around fork lift, pallet jack, handcart and other standard warehouse equipment

  • Knowledge and familiarity with a variety of technical parts and supplies

  • Knowledge and experience with parts reference source and materials such as manufacturer manuals, books, internet and the ability to effectively use such materials to ensure correct parts are ordered

  • Ability and willingness to work a variety of schedules, overtime, weekends and holidays with short notice

  • Ability and willingness to respond to incidents in locations requiring climbing, fall protection, and other non-traditional work-environments

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written on a technical level

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must be 18 years or older

About the roles: Digital Product Manager & Senior Digital Product Manager Balance Business, Technology, and Design priorities to deliver brand defining experiences as a leader in the Digital Product Management space (DPM) within Capital Group's Digital Channels group. Our DPM's work spans the entire product life cycle, from identifying customer needs, business case development, gaining internal investment, defining experiences, ensuring successful launch and ongoing enhancements. Our team is growing and we'll be adding two individuals to the team in the near term. These roles lead and/or are part of an integrated team that delivers the Digital Experiences surrounding our core Investment Products and Services to all customers. You'll play a key role in championing user-centered design within the organization and building relationships between key teams to orchestrate best in class experiences. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups in a matrixed organization, with an uncanny ability to translate complex investment product information into layman's terms. We are looking to add two DPM's to our team in the coming weeks. Your impact: A diverse set of customers shop our Investment products. The asset management industry still struggles to speak in simple terms that most can understand. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to help the organization bring clarity to an important topic that impacts real lives. Collaborate with our Investment Services, Product Development, and Marketing teams to develop experiences and digital products that meet a highly diverse set of user needs. Work with business unit partners on prioritization and management of all aspects of the experience (product) roadmap through collaboration/input from other team members. Core to the role is clearly articulating the business/user value while leading prioritization. Provide direction, guidance, and translate business requirements and customer insights for designers, IT, Digital Operations, national/retail operations and other key stakeholders. This direction can include performing analysis, defining requirements/user stories, working with teams to develop solutions to meet these requirements, and to test and deliver experiences with the customer in mind. Serve as a trusted advisor across teams and the business on how an experience does/could manifest throughout the product. Senior Digital Product Manager - Experience and Qualifications: * Minimum of 8 years' experience in Digital (Web, Mobile, other channels) and/or User Experience with working knowledge of Marketing, experience includes defining products, building roadmaps, and managing product enhancements * Prior experience inside of the investment industry, working with investment products in a b2b, b2c environment required * Prior leadership experience and a proven track record of success in developing junior talent * Experience in development & launch of Mobile strategy, roadmap & execution * Ability to effectively plan and manage the work of diverse, multiple teams * Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to drive product roadmap and design * Experience developing business cases & project plans * Exceptional communication and the ability to influence senior business leaders on strategic business matters * Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or related field required; MBA highly preferred Digital Product Manager - Experience and Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years' experience in Digital (Web, Mobile, other channels) and/or User Experience with working knowledge of Marketing, experience includes defining products, building roadmaps, and managing product enhancements * Experience in development & launch of Mobile strategy, roadmap & execution * Financial Services experience with mutual funds, investment research, investment tools & solutions is a plus * Working knowledge of investment industry, investment products, b2b, b2c highly preferred * Ability to effectively plan and manage the work of diverse, multiple teams * Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to drive product roadmap and design * Experience developing business cases & project plans * Exceptional communication and the ability to influence senior business leaders on strategic business matters * Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or related field required; MBA is a plus Company Overview: Founded in 1931, Capital Group is one of the world's largest and most trusted investment management companies and home to the American Funds.
