You will serve as a Toolroom Mechanic Supervisor II in the Material and Tool Division of the Central Tool Shop at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF).

You will plan work assignments on an immediate and long-range basis in accordance with schedules of priorities established by higher level supervision.
You will assign and explain work to subordinate supervisors and maintains a balanced workload by transferring work or personnel among them.
You will review and make recommendations on such matters as increasing staff, purchasing new equipment, promotion of subordinates, budget variances, eliminating counter-productive operating costs, and productivity improvement plans.
You will spot check work operations and review completed work and inspection reports to assure that production and quality standards are met.
You will determine manpower, tooling, material availability, and methods to be used.
Occasional travel - Travel is dependent upon position description and availability of funding.
