Journeyman Tool and Die Maker

• 4 day week

We are seeking a Tool & Die Maker to become a part of our team! Small tool and die department to support stamping operations. Position works on both supporting production and building new dies for customers. Good variety of work and responsibilities. Challenging environment. Small group team atmosphere.

The position offers a good deal of variety in your day to day responsibilities. There is a predictable work schedule, Monday

• Thursday with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays (max would be two weeks per month). There are abundant opportunities for voluntary overtime on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Starting pay subject to negotiation based on experience and ability. Willing to offer generous vacation package to an experienced hire.

Responsibilities:

• Able to use, apply and select appropriate materials and tool steel as required by a given application.

• Install and repair various equipment and components

• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications

• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 7 or more years of experience with stamping dies, change over and tool and die maintenance

• Must have successfully completed an apprenticeship training program and have a certification of completion

• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency and skill appropriate to the job in the areas of shop mathematics, heat treatment techniques, blueprint reading, job layout skills, machine tool operation skills, tool design techniques, fitting, and assembly.

• Must be able to program and run CNC Mills.

2nd shift Monday- Thursday 2pm-midnightOvertime may be required up to two Fridays per month. Voluntary overtime opportunities abundant.
