Description:The Tool Expeditor will be responsible for the management of the Company Tool Kit program, ensuring the operations team has the resources needed to effectively operate, and support the tooling department in the management and control of the tooling program. Duties will also entail ordering, receiving, identifying and properly managing tooling. Coordinating with operations to understand requirements and creating solutions to help drive efficiencies and cost savings.
This position will be required to work in the Asset Management Control System (AMCS) computer program to create and update records, monitor reports and managing the CTK annual inventory program. Additional duties may include minor tooling repair, expediting the movement of tooling or parts or taking on special projects as they arise. This position may be required to take on minor calibration activities to support the continued maintenance and upkeep of the CTK program.
This position requires a high degree of attention to detail and follow through. Tasks regularly involve ensuring the accuracy of tool inventories for CTKs and Tool Rooms during set up and annual inventories as well as ensuring the tooling organization adheres to established Tool Control and Government Property policy. Failures of this position can result in audit findings and non-conformance to internal and external audits.
