Scope of the Position

Flex-n-Gate in Grand Prairie Texas is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable CNC Machining Technician for our plastic injection molding and metal stamping manufacturing facility. As a Tooling Machinist the qualified individual will be responsible for the operations of the machining room and the creation of stamping components trims and forms. Overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Machining components from drawings and CAD files. Either with CNC mill, EDM or manual machines.

• Maintaining an orderly machine shop in a production facility

• Complete all associated paperwork related to preventative maintenance logs

• Provide technical assistance to production team and assist in problem solving

Experience & Knowledge required with:

• Lathes

• Drill Presses

• Milling

• CNC machining

• Wire EDM (preferred, but training available)

• Precision measuring instruments (calipers, height gauges, pin gauges and micrometers)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Internal applicants must satisfactorily pass the Skilled Trades Aptitude test.

• 3+ years tooling experience preferred
