Our Ideal Tool & Die Maker will:
Conduct maintenance on tooling and dies in support of production operations including maintenance on metal stamping, injection molding, thermoforming, and other tooling to reduce production and operations downtime.
As the Tool & Die Maker, you will:
Work safely in compliance with applicable OSHA rules and regulations, especially those that apply to tool & die work and the use of cranes, forklifts and etc.
Ability to read and understand mechanical prints and drawings
Ability to use measuring devices including calipers, height gage, radius gages, etc.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the setup and operation of:
o Lathes
o Grinders
o Milling machines
o Other traditional machine shop equipment.
Experience in CNC programing, setup, or general operation preferred
Ability to hold tolerance of 0.002" or less.
Ability to execute work orders and preventive maintenance schedules resulting in reduced production/operations downtime.
Possess excellent communication skills
Maintains an active customer service attitude

Critical Success Factors for the Ideal Candidate Profile are:
Knowledge of shop mathematics, machining and assembly methods, properties of sheet metal under pressure, and metal-forming presses.
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Competence in reading precision gauges.
Effective communication skills.
Quality directed work attitude
Experience in diagnosis and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
Perform regularly schedule and preventive maintenance on tooling and dies.
PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
