MAU is hiring a Tool Crib Attendant at our client in Greenville, SC. As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will inspect, issue, retrieve, and track materials and equipment for the production floor. This is a contract long-term assignment.

Shift Information
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Associate degree in engineering discipline, manufacturing, mechatronics, or equivalent experience
1+ year(s) of experience in an industrial maintenance or manufacturing environment with an understanding of machine maintenance and lean manufacturing processes
Previous knowledge of hydraulics
Previous experience using Maximo or a CMMS equivalent
Knowledge of 5S and Six Sigma problem-solving methodology
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
General Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment with a team and/or independently, in a safe and effective manner without supervision
Demonstrate a high level of customer service and strong communication, both listening and speaking, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate knowledge in basic hand tools and terminology
Ability to communicate clearly in English, and write reports and other written communications with clarity
Multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail, accuracy, and with a sense of urgency
Ability to prioritize with an emphasis on quality of work
Strong organization skills
Capability to learn materials management systems, Maximo, or equivalent programs to track and repair materials
Preferred Requirements
Essential Functions
Organize and maintain tool and equipment storage area
Monitor and maintain facilities and work area to adhere to conditions appropriate to an industry leader in inventory management
Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
Inspect hoses, equipment, and pumps for deficiencies, such as hydraulics, high pressure pumps, etc.
Perform routine operator preventative maintenance tasks and maintain cleanliness of community equipment
Assist with identifying parts necessary to maintain inventory and perform routine repairs
Interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
Communicate issues with various levels of supervision and management
Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation and input into database as required
Determine space requirements and position of materials in storage
Direct movement of shipments from production area to storage and work areas
Maintain reports, records, and documentation to reflect departmental activities as needed
Assist with continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
Prepare records for management and maintain appropriate documentation as required by the area leadership
Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
Cross-train team members as needed
Participate in company and customer safety, health, and training programs
Perform other tasks as assigned
