Order, receive, organize, store and maintain appropriate inventory levels in Tool Crib.

Day-to-Day Role:

  • Receive packages and check against order and packaging slip for accuracy. Open all incoming freight delivered to Tool Crib

  • Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received

  • Organize Tool Crib inventory, keep records of parts received and issued, and take inventory parts in storeroom periodically

  • Identify dead inventory and remove from Tool Crib

  • Record repair time expended by mechanics

  • Follow purchase order procedures to requisition parts at the request of Maintenance Mechanic

  • Expedite order through Purchasing or vendor critical items

  • Enter all pertinent information into computer system

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Demonstrate minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

  • Ability to work weekends as needed

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One (1) year experience as a storeroom clerk in a manufacturing environment; two (2) years preferred

  • Previous computer experience and data entry skills

  • Ability to recognize specific parts used in each department, complete basic paperwork, and perform basic math calculations

  • Organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting trainees to gain work experience and discover skills and abilities that will help them get ready to join the workforce. The Job Coach 2 will help the trainee succeed thru advice and support to strengthen weak skills and realize their potential. Provide training, observe the performance of the individual, facilitate the tools or knowledge necessary to attain results, and provide feedback to the Program Manager and related personnel of the individual performances. The Job Coach 2 will assist level 1 Job Coaches with any questions or problems they may have. STARTING PAY: $11.00/hour ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Develops onthe-job training strategies and implements direct instruction for consumers on the work site. This includes, but is not limited to, specific skill training, adjustment to the work environment, and appropriate social interaction. * Provides reinforcement and hands-on work orientation to the consumer to encourage good work habits. * Model the job obtained for the individual, using the exact techniques required by the employer * Assures the employer and quantity standards are maintained by fully training the individual to perform all aspects of the job, and by the actually performing the job until complete independence is achieved in order to maintain production quotas * Maintains a professional working relationship with all contacts, specifically consumers, community employers, referral sources, community agencies, peers and supervisors. * Assures that documentation for consumers vocational programming and progress are completed according to procedural guidelines. * Reports any accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor and assists with completing appropriate reports. * Participates in case reviews and goal planning for each consumer, as requested. * Follow all safety policies or procedures. * Appropriately dressed in accordance with the employee dress code. * Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager. * May provide transportation for the individual to and from potential employer for the purpose of job application, interview, situational assessment or work. May also provide transport to and fromcompany parties or company functions. * Must be able to maintain professional poise under pressure. * Must be able to develop problem solving solutions through creativity and professionalism. * Reviews and is familiar with OK Goodwill safety policies, programs and procedures. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes, and attends safety training sessions and necessary safety meetings. WORKING CONDITIONS: * Work in climate controlled atmosphere majority of the time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION: * Associates degree in related field of study, or at least 2 years of previous working experience preferred. * Experience working with disabled individuals preferred. * Must maintain valid Oklahoma drivers license and current auto insurance if driving on company business. * Must maintain a good driving record and pass MVR check. * Must be free from the DDSD registry check. * Must attend and pass employment training course. * Must pass OSBI / DOC background check, as well as drug screening.
