Position Overview:

As a Toddler Teacher at Primrose School at Standley Lake, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the hearts, minds, and development of toddlers in your care. Your role will involve creating a supportive and engaging environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. By nurturing their curiosity and encouraging positive behaviors, you will lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

Specific to Toddler Classroom:

• Create a safe and engaging learning environment with age-appropriate furniture, materials, and equipment that encourage exploration and independence.

• Implement a predictable daily routine with flexible transitions to support toddlers' need for structure while allowing for spontaneity and exploration.

• Embrace the unique personalities and individuality of each toddler, celebrating their accomplishments and supporting their challenges with patience and empathy.

• Foster peer interactions and socialization through group activities, cooperative play, and opportunities for sharing and cooperation.

Qualifications:

• Child Development Associate (CDA) or relevant certification

• Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting

• Understanding of toddler development and knowledge of age-appropriate practices for promoting learning and growth.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with toddlers, families, and colleagues.

• Ability to adapt and respond to the changing needs and interests of toddlers while maintaining a safe and structured environment.

• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
