Welcome! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education.

Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & over 75% of school year to qualify (substitute work does not qualify).

WE CURRENTLY HAVE ONE POSITION OPEN FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR. THE ACUSD ALLOWS YEAR FOR YEAR EXPERIENCE CREDIT WHEN PLACING EMPLOYEES ON THE SALARY SCHEDULE.

Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & over 75% of school year to qualify. Full time employees are required to enroll in a benefits package as part of total compensation (see www.amadorcoe.org website, Department, Business, then Benefits for plan details and rates). We pay 100% of the induction costs for our new teachers. Current clear TB Test and DOJ fingerprinting at Amador County Unified School District for the hired candidate will be required.
