Summary: Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting golfer insights through primary and secondary research and providing strategic recommendations that guide the direction and growth of the Titleist golf clubs business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with golf club product category leaders to assess goals and help determine research needs. Design, develop and execute surveys with the goal of gathering first party data for deep analysis.

  • Supply deep analysis and interpretation of survey data. Identify prepare reports/presentations of research results by efficiently communicating critical learnings, golfer insights and business recommendations.

  • Analyze golfer-level CRM/Loyalty data to identify and understand trends and golfer behavior, conduct advanced analytics to identify personas, provide customer lifecycle analysis, understand responsiveness, and campaign performance and optimization, and provide strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.

  • Identify appropriate research methodologies and techniques (e.g., quantitative vs. qualitative) based on the needs of key stakeholders and relevant business opportunities. Source relevant first and/or third-party databases for survey distribution.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and understand new market opportunities. Lead data gathering and analysis of market size and potential and collaborate with product, sales, and marketing to developing go-to-market strategies.

  • Provide insights to global markets on golf club research and help identify potential dedicated golfer studies to field. Assist markets with establishing criteria for research and share best practices.

  • Manage golf club insights calendar to ensure successful execution of goals and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of consumer research or quantitative analysis experience.

  • Some domestic travel approximately 5%

  • Focus on quantitative mind, advanced analytics and modeling, knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and software (R, SPSS, Python, etc.), analytical skills, and attention to detail are a must. Strong golf knowledge and passion for the game is a plus, a desire to learn about golf is a must.
