General Information

  • Salary Range: $49,000 $61,000 Annually, Plus Bonus Eligibility

  • Hours: 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities

Enhance consumer connection with Titleist Clubs by providing personal, industry leading service, technical club and shaft specifications, as well as club fitting information, recommendations and assistance.

Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Answer consumer calls and respond to consumer questions on various forums, regarding Titleist golf club products. Answer questions regarding performance, technology, key features, player benefits, and specifications. Resolve problems swiftly and proactively.

  • Actively link consumers with key fitting partners in their local markets. Answer questions regarding our fitters, fitting methodology and processes. Explain the different club fitting experiences available from Titleist. Work to ensure the consumers get the best fitting experience.

  • Manage the Team Titleist library with heads, shafts and equipment to support our fitters and enable them to give "best in class" fittings. Work with our fitting partners to assist them in selecting shafts for fitting.

  • Promptly and professionally respond to consumer emails. Answer questions regarding performance, technology, key features, player benefits and specifications. Resolve problems swiftly and proactively.

  • Actively explain the benefits of, recruit and enroll consumers in our Team Titleist Consumer database. Specifically work to encourage consumers to fill out their golf club equipment profiles.

  • Work with the Fitting department to coordinate and schedule consumer fittings at Oceanside and Manchester Lane.

Qualifications

Position Requires:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, A.S. or B.S degree preferred. PGA membership preferred.

  • Three to Five years' experience in the golf industry, with at least two years in a customer service or equivalent role required. Strong equipment and club fitting knowledge required. Must be a skilled verbal and written communicator.

  • Able to sit for long periods of time at a desk using phone and computer. Must be able to travel occasionally to conduct consumer fitting and trial events as needed. Able to travel to visit key accounts to talk about Team Titleist and golf clubs.

  • Strong club fitter, above average computer skills (including knowledge of Lotus Notes, Excel Word), self-motivated initiative taker, strong problem solving skills and patient service oriented demeanor are all preferred skill sets. Must maintain specialized knowledge on equipment, proprietary technical knowledge, confidential pricing, programs and account information.

Position Summary: Responsible for providing technical support to customers through coordination of complaint investigations and resolution, coordinating the value assignment process, providing customer support and training for the web-based statistical peer review application and assisting Product/Project Managers in relation to product and project related deliverables Key Responsibilities: Value Assignment * Coordinates the Value Assignment process both internally and with external laboratories. * Evaluates/performs market review of clinical analyzer models, brands, and available tests. Uses the information obtained to support the value assignment process and propose applicable analyzers for testing in order to address customer needs. Works with Sales to add/remove analyzers. * Compiles, analyzes and report value assignment data utilizing Excel and Word. * Coordinates sample shipments to value assignment sites. Coordinates testing of internal studies to ensure availability of samples and reagents for the QC group. * Produces lot specific product inserts for review by Marketing and QA/Regulatory. Assists in the development of new product insert templates. Maintains historical files of lot specific value assignment testing. * Processes reimbursement of value assignment testing of external laboratories/contacts, where applicable. Maintains and provides historical cost information and reports to the Accounting department, as necessary. Technical Support * Coordinate and performs product investigations pertaining to customer complaints. Assign investigation responsibilities to appropriate personnel and departments. Provides input for root cause, conclusion, corrective and preventive actions. * Leads complaint investigation meetings with multi-departmental areas. * Performs trend analysis on complaints * Performs testing, as needed, on clinical analyzers or other test methods to support complaint investigations. * Submits regular reports and/or input of root cause analysis investigations outlining the events associated with complaints. * Handles incoming technical inquiries via telephone, fax, or email, as necessary. Marketing * Reviews value assignment data. Stays abreast of current market trends of clinical assays/instruments. * Trains and/or interacts with associates of the peer review program to ensure Cliniqa values are uploaded to the peer review site. Offers support to customers, as necessary. * Assists product and project managers with various design control and marketing deliverables.
