The Video Producer & Editor is a creative architect who knows how to bring marketing messages and stories to life in video. You're able to create the best output by cutting and connecting various pieces, adding sound effects and graphics to create a cohesive and professional completed video. You will be responsible for putting each project together, ensuring it's delivered on schedule, meets all quality standards, and exceeds audience expectations.
Types of video content this person will produce include customer stories, promotional social videos, sales content, product marketing videos, employer videos, and other travel inspiration visuals that elevate and harness the equity of our brands. On a typical day, you might edit, storyboard, direct on set, or a combination of all. The Video Producer & Editor must actively engage in each project stage from inception to the final cut, including workflow design, footage transcoding and logging, editing, and sound design.
The Video Producer & Editor is a visual storyteller who can naturally and clearly express complex ideas in all video formats. Reporting to the Manager, Video & Photo Production, this creative associate will be highly collaborative with generating innovative video treatments and ideas that advances our brands.
How You'll Shine:
Deliver branded video projects: 70% of time
Responsible for assembling recorded raw material into the finished promotion suitable for marketing, editorial, commercial, and internal efforts
Displays incomparable skills in filming with a variety of video, lighting, and audio equipment and formats
Edits, produces and occasionally shoots on-brand video start to finish
In post-production, this person is in charge of selecting, recording/re-recording, and piecing together the right sounds to fit the edited footage
Administer video workflows in alignment with our overarching Global Brand processes: 30% of time
Organizes video asset library ─ this includes helping to apply top-notch MAM functionalities, working cross functionally to define and implement metadata taxonomy
Evolve knowledge of media production tools and best practices to continuously improve quality standards and efficiencies
Collaborates with creative studio team, brand management, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and relevance of deliverables, making sure creative deliverables match messaging needs
What You'll Bring:
BA in Film, Video Production, or Commercial Production,
Expert knowledge and understanding of video production within marketing, social, editorial web, and other digital executions
Expert knowledge of editing, use of sound effects, graphics, brand storytelling and architecture as well as integrated content marketing
Understanding of branding practices and structure
Organizational skills that include ability to confidently and gracefully prioritize multiple projects under time constraints. This includes the ability to self-manage time and meet expected deadlines within the hours allocated
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Passionate attitude with willingness and enthusiasm to own your own growth.
Extensive knowledge of Canon, DJI, Panasonic, RED, Arri, Sony and other video production/film cameras as well as drone photography
Extensive knowledge of digital production processes, including photography, video, and print
Experience with asset lifecycle management: MAM & DAM infrastructures
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Programs, Microsoft Office Suite
3+ years experience in marketing brand, creative agency, or an in-house agency
Prior experience within travel & hospitality a plus
Knowledge of marketing and digital experiences
Proven experience working with teams on large-scale, long-term projects
