The Senior Marketing Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision making across our marketing and web product teams. This role will partner with stakeholders to define measurement strategies, develop reporting & provide recommendations to continually enhance business performance. In addition, this role will create a culture of testing by hypothesizing, implementing & measuring cross-channel testing. The ideal candidate enjoys working collaboratively with stakeholders to leverage a modern data stack to turn large datasets into actionable insights.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain data sets/ETL structures (Snowflake and BigQuery) and reports using Data Studio
Perform ad hoc analyses of both marketing and web performance using Snowflake and BigQuery
Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement a cross-channel testing roadmap
Partner with the business to make use of predictive models in both web and marketing
Maintain data governance on data warehouses
Create documentation around data engineering processes (ERD, data maps, data dictionaries)
Requirements and Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Experience in creating/using data visualizations to tell a narrative
Experience with data engineering
Familiarity with data architecture (preferred)
Familiarity with modeling techniques (preferred)
Familiarity with media/ad effectiveness measurement and tools (preferred)
Familiarity with web analytics measurement (preferred)
R or Python experience is a bonus
Experience with data visualization platforms
3+ years experience in a data engineering or similar role
Experience in a quantitative data driven field, media, or equivalent coursework/academic projects
Hands on experience mining large datasetsin the context of marketing and/or web engagement
Experience putting together and presenting data-focused decks
