JOB TITLE: TITLE School District Test Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Curriculum
REPORTS TO: Director of Educational Services

SUMMARY:
The School District Test Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth administration of standardized tests within the district. This position involves coordinating various aspects of testing programs, liaising with administrators, teachers, and external testing agencies, and ensuring compliance with testing regulations and policies.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is funded through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (TITLE GRANT). The funding for this position is contingent on grant approval and grant funding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of standardized tests across multiple schools within the district.
o Ensure that all testing materials are ordered, received, distributed, and returned according to established timelines and procedures.
o Oversee the setup of testing environments, including the arrangement of testing rooms and equipment.
o Provide training and support to school staff involved in test administration, including test proctors and administrators.
o Develop and distribute instructional materials and resources to assist staff in understanding testing procedures and protocols.
o Serve as a resource for troubleshooting issues related to test administration.
o Stay informed about state and federal regulations governing standardized testing, and ensure that all testing activities comply with relevant laws and policies.
o Maintain accurate records of testing activities, including attendance, accommodations, and any incidents that may affect test integrity.
o Collaborate with district leadership to implement policies and procedures that support effective test administration and compliance.
o Collect, organize, and analyze data related to test administration, including student performance, participation rates, and demographic information.
o Generate reports and summaries to inform district stakeholders about testing outcomes and trends.
o Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making related to instructional strategies and resource allocation.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between the district, schools, testing agencies, and other stakeholders regarding testing matters.
o Collaborate with district personnel, including curriculum specialists and instructional coaches, to align testing efforts with broader educational goals and initiatives.
o Communicate testing schedules, procedures, and requirements to students, parents, and staff in a clear and timely manner.

Ability to operate computer-related hardware and software programs

Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with staff, students, parents and community members
Knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws, district procedures and Board policies

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in education, educational administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience working in a school or district setting, with a strong understanding of educational policies and procedures.
Familiarity with standardized testing practices and regulations, including experience administering tests such as state assessments, AP exams, or SAT/ACT.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in data analysis and report writing, with experience using software applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing priorities and circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
Criminal justice/Fingerprint clearance
Computer Proficiency: Demonstrated general proficiency in computer programs such as Google, Microsoft Excel, Word.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The School District Test Coordinator typically works in a district office setting, with occasional travel to school sites during testing periods. This position may require some evening or weekend hours, especially during peak testing seasons.
