The title clerk will be responsible for the daily processing of vehicle titles. Through a thorough understanding of corresponding state and local title processing regulations and Copart policies, the Title Clerk will answer questions; provide support and facilitate the Copart experience through offering solutions to meet customer's needs. In addition, the Title Clerk will maintain file documentation, update customers on file status, and maintain accurate records of vehicle titling within company guidelines. The Title Clerk will be the face of the company through face to face and vocal interactions with all levels of customers which range from the general public to high level managers of organizations.

  • Efficiently and accurately identify/analyze vehicle title/ownership documents within company guidelines.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.

  • Process vehicle titles in accordance with state guidelines.

  • Research missing and/or incorrect title paperwork and determine proper resolve in a timely manner.

  • Communicate with customers via email or verbally to handle title issues daily.

  • Build relationship and develop professional rapport with DMV and sellers.

  • Maintain title bin filing as necessary.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • HS diploma.

  • Two years customer service experience.

  • One year vehicle title processing.

  • Computer proficiency (MS Office Word / Suite).

  • Typing speed 45 words per minute.

  • Basic 10 Key proficiency.

  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude.

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines.

  • Must be able to multi-task.

  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

  • Must be able to view a computer screen for a significant portion of the work day.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Title knowledge of local and surrounding states is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Numeric and alphabetic filing skills are mandatory.

  • Must be able to work overtime schedule as needed.

  • Notary license preferred.

  • Bilingual a plus.

  • Occasional overtime as needed.

In this capacity, the employee organizes and maintains an approved system of records. Qualifications Education: * High school diploma or G.E.D. Experience: * Training in an accredited medical record program or minimum of one (1) year experience in an established medical record system preferred, but not mandatory Licenses/Certifications: * None required Responsibilities Ensures confidentiality of all medical records information and completes forms for release of information. Refers to Medical Records Supervisor / H.S.A. any requests of questionable nature. Ensures all medical records filing is up to date. Performs Clerical/Technical duties: Pull and file medical records daily as needed. Prepare and type reports/correspondence as requested by supervisors. Answer telephone, relay messages, and transfer calls as appropriate. File loose documentation generated from inside and outside the institution such as laboratory reports, radiology results, completed consultant reports, medication administration records, etc. Schedule patients for medical appointments as requested. Assist Medical Records Supervisor in preparing periodic statistical reports and other management information system requirements. Promotes Quality Improvement standards by actively participating in the quality of care screen audits. Abides by the security regulations of the assigned facility. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis. Post orders, if applicable, per site contract. Perform other duties as assigned.
