Title Ix-Ucp Compliance Officer

Under direction of the Superintendent or designee, work with minimal supervision to investigate and manage Title IX compliance, Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP), formal complaint procedures, and informal complaint resolution. Collaborate with students, families, District employees, legal counsel; state and federal agencies to ensure a safe and welcoming learning/working environment for all members of our District community and actively support the District's positive school climate initiatives.

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to:A.

Graduation from High School or equivelant required. Bachelor's degree equivalent required; Masters Degree is preferred. Juris Doctorate or Masters in Legal Studies desired.B.

Five (5) years of increasingly responsible relevant experience with demonstrated experience in compliance oversight and conducting investigations. Experience with restorative justice and trauma informed care practices preferred. OrAny combination of education, training and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential duties may be substituted for the required experience and/or education.
