JOB DESCRIPTION

GOAL:

Develop and promote resources and guidance for the Title IV, Part A program by creating and implementing strategies in marketing, public relations, web development, branding, and related digital fields; and provide leadership and technical assistance for Education Service Centers and Texas Education Agency in the Title IV, Part A content areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Current K-12 Educator Certification preferred

  • Google Level 2 Educator Certification preferred

  • Professional Social Media presence preferred

  • Experience coaching/mentoring adult educators preferred

  • Knowledge and Skills of current education initiatives and trends required

  • Knowledge and Skills of latest technology applications and platforms conducive to the K-12 environment

  • 5 years teaching experience and/or experience in Education Technology-related position preferred

  • Graphic Design knowledge

Program Planning/Organizational Skills:

  • Keeps current with technology trends through conferences, trainings, online resources, and any available collaboration opportunities.

  • Develops objectives to meet constituent needs.

  • Relates component objectives to ESC goals and TEA priorities.

  • Demonstrates integration of objectives with the Title IV program.

  • Maintains required documentation of component services.

  • Develops project objectives and evaluates outcomes as baseline for future direction.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrates leadership in the innovation and infusion of technology.

  • Promotes and inspires innovation in integration practices among ESC and TEA employees.

  • Informs and communicates to ESCs and TEA.

Consultative and Technical Assistance:

  • Demonstrates accessibility through regular contact with ESCs and TEA.

  • Responds to ESC and TEA requests for assistance through workshops, trainings, technical support, online resources, on-site meetings, and other related services.

  • Assists ESCs and TEA in selection and implementation of initiatives to meet defined needs as requested.

  • Plans and provides training in innovative educational practices and strategies that foster technology integration.

  • Dependent upon years of educational or related field experience.
