This HVAC Technician position is part of the Global Real Estate/Facilities/Safety Group. As part of the Facilities Maintenance and Operations team, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of various HVAC and mechanical equipment such as, but not limited to, air handlers, exhaust fans, roof top package units, boilers, chillers, pumps, air compressors, and related controls. You will review HVAC controls software for alarms and out of compliance incidents, troubleshoot HVAC systems to diagnose alarm issues, investigate and complete employee requested work orders, maintain work order status in CMMS system, and respond to emergency issues within buildings.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Complete assignments involving repair, installation, alteration, maintenance, and preventive maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

  • Read and interpret HVAC diagrams and troubleshooting of all associated controls.

  • Monitor HVAC systems and operations.

  • Maintain necessary work records including equipment records, logs, and timesheets.

  • May assist other maintenance personnel on projects as directed.

  • Perform general building maintenance activities.

  • Will be part of a team supporting different locations and 20 buildings (Hercules / Richmond / Pleasanton / Santa Rosa) using a company vehicle.

What You Bring:

  • Education: High school diploma required; HVAC trade school certification preferred.

  • Work experience: 5 years' HVAC experience.

  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), ALC knowledge a plus.

  • Proficient in CMMS (AMMS).

  • Team player and ability to work well with others.

  • Proficient with tools, equipment, and testing devices related to mechanical trade.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively function in a team environment.

  • Can work Monday through Friday, normal business hours.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this position is $36.63 to $54.52 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
