Title: Firmware Developer Intern

We are looking for a motivated student who has a strong interest in the development, manufacturing, and sustaining of complex embedded systems in the field of life science. How You'll Make an Impact:

• Apply education, experiences, and skills to support the design and development of reliable and maintainable firmware for embedded systems used in commercial products and in-house diagnostic tools.

• Implement firmware to enable electromechanical system operations including feedback control and hardware and software interfaces.

• Collaborate on embedded designs and participate in cross-functional teams to support product development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Create and maintain software scripts and supporting tools for system development, verification, validation, and production efforts.

What You Bring:

• Education: Senior undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• Experience or exposure in firmware development for embedded systems using a high-level language

• Strong skills in C++ and RTOS

• Strong ability to troubleshoot

• Highly motivated, collaborative, and inquisitive problem solver

Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
