Job Overview

  • How You'll Contribute:

As a Title Clerk you will receive and process all title paperwork relative to sold, purchased and traded inventory vehicles, maintain accurate computerized and manual document vehicle records, and provide a warm, friendly, "We-Care" attitude to all Customers and Associates. Preference given to candidates with Dealership Titling experience.

  • Process all titles for vehicles sold and traded-in on a daily basis using established tracking procedures.

  • Have a thorough knowledge of Nebraska and Iowa title regulations.

  • Verify that VIN numbers are entered into the computer system correctly and match the title.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough title status notes in the applicable tracking software.

  • Work with various counties and states as needed to process all applicable titles, taxes, licenses, and lien requests or releases.

Qualifications

  • What You Need to be Successful:
  • The ability to read and comprehend information and follow instructions.

  • Be knowledgeable of Nebraska and Iowa titling laws.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic accounting knowledge a plus.

  • The ability to do work of a repetitive nature.

  • The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.

  • The ability to effectively communicate with staff, auction personnel, courthouse personnel, and Customers, in person, via text/email and over the phone.

  • Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities while meeting deadlines.

  • Team player who also can work independently and proactively to respond to inquiries and resolve issues.

  • Strong work ethic with an emphasis on integrity, time management, accountability, efficiency, teamwork and thoroughness.
