Consumer/Commercial tire technologies is in need of a highly motivated engineer to conceive, verify and implement new technology to establish and maintain world-class tire performance in all tire segments. This involves advanced tire design through simulation, new experimental techniques and collaboration with groups internally and externally
Execute technology validation through simulation and experimental validation
Collaborate internally and externally to implement new technologies to manufacturing facilities
Run numerical/finite element simulations to understand and mitigate risk to products from new technology
Coordinate tire builds, analyze testing data, draw conclusions and make plans to ensure product/technology timelines are met and aligned plans are executed
Communicate status to technical and business partners
BS in Engineering or other technical discipline plus 2 years of relevant work experience.
Solid modeling experience, project management skills desired. Extensive finite element analysis experience desired. MS preferred
