PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under the direction of the Energy Department Manager, provide leadership for sales and service as to maintain repeat and new customers, while maximizing profitability. Develops processes and procedures to improve internal control functions and efficiencies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Hires, fires, supervises, leads and develops employees that are employed at the Farmtown Facility. Maintains up-to-date job descriptions and performs annual performance reviews. If the need arises, creates and maintains documentation of any critical and pertinent discussion with team members.
Periodically schedules outside sources to provide certified product and equipment training to all employees. These training sessions should require testing and provide certificates showing completion. Trains employees to meet state, federal, and company regulatory and safety criteria.
Responsible for overseeing product ordering, receiving of product, profitable pricing, inventory control.
Responsible for submitting accurate deposits daily.
Schedules appointments, oversees job performance, and creates the work order for billing. Provides accurate unit numbers when doing work on company units. Requires complete purchase orders for all company work.
Handles all customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Responsible for the maintenance and appearance of the equipment, trucks and facilities.
Responsible to sell to customers at the location, by phone or in person. Provides a marketing schedule to the Energy Department Manager to assist in FS Farmtown profitability and sales flow. Promotes the use of member cooperative credit programs as a selling tool. Helps provide the required information to establish credit and works closely with the credit department in collection of accounts receivable.
Attends all required meetings and training programs.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Adheres to the member company uniform policy and maintains the appropriate professional image.

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
Education and experience
Normally requires a 2-year college degree and/or a certificate showing completion of an auto mechanics program. This includes the understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles. Demonstrate the proper knowledge of tires.
Normally requires 5 or more years of sales and management experience to demonstrate operations management leadership.
Must possess or be able to acquire and maintain a CDL driver's license.
Understanding and experience in operations management, distribution, warehousing, inventory management, purchasing, and budgeting.
The ability to deal with employee issues and/or problems on a timely basis as needed.
Team building skills and the ability to work independently and, in a team, -oriented environment.
Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated organization, planning, and problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, prioritize work, and deal with deadlines.
Proven computer and "attention to detail" skills and the ability to use computer programs such as excel and word to enhance business processes.
Must maintain a valid driver's license with a CDL.
Must be able to work hours beyond those considered normal.
