A Tip Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of assembly tasks with the aid of specialized fixtures and jigs, such as bending, cutting, application of glue, and UV curing equipment.
Shift: M-F 7A-3:30P Salary: $12-13
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manually place cannulas into plastic hubs, apply epoxy, and place in position to be cured, by means of UV curing light.
Place parts in fixtures for secondary operations, such as bending, cutting and tip guarding.
Perform inspection of finished assembly using various gauges and instruments.
Must manufacture quantity specified on work order to meet customer demand.
Weigh parts and record count on log.
Maintain organized and clean work station.
All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
6 months of previous assembly experience
Basic math skills
Able to read, write and speak English
Able to work well with others in a team environment
