SUMMARY
The Tinter position involves identifying problems, removing fixed and moveable body glass from the vehicle, preparing window surfaces, applying tinting processes and installing glass ensuring that trimming of components and application of adhesives is carried out. It is also necessary to ensure that the vehicle passes safety/roadworthy inspection prior to customer use.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Follow safety guidelines and legal regulations regarding the application of window films, including compliance with tinting laws and regulations specific to automotive applications.
Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment
Completes pre-order operations
Prepare vehicle/component equipment for customer use
Prepare surfaces and apply window tinting carefully, ensuring smooth and even coverage without creases, bubbles, or wrinkles
Monitors stock level to maintain enterprise activities
Control surface finish production and finished product quality
Cleans glass surfaces
Spot cleans internal/external surfaces
Dispose of waste and maintain a tidy work area
Identify, clarify and resolve problems
Work with colleagues and customers
Receive and store stock
Wash external surfaces to remove all visible dirt and grime
Maintain wet area in an odor free, soil and hazard free condition
Handles special projects as instructed by the manager or director.
Participates in all training programs that are made available.
Keeps current on new products and product updates.
Maintains professional appearance.
Must report to work on time every day as scheduled.
Attends department meetings as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Experience
1-2 years experience in Tinting & Detailing
Licensure
Valid Guam Driver's license
