Stealth Monitoring is a rapidly growing North American security firm. As part of our national expansion, Stealth is hiring a Field Service Professional for the Seattle market. The core responsibilities of the Tier I Field Operations Technician include: * Maintaining and Troubleshooting* Analog and IP based CCTV Systems * Access Control Systems * Intrusion Detection SystemsThe Tier I Technician / Installer will report to a Tier 3 Technician and will be part of the team to drive the success of the region by working cross-functionally with customer support, internal and external IT groups, & customers, to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects and service initiatives to maintain system uptimes.Success for the Tier I role is measured by: * Developing an understanding of low voltage technologies and how they are used at Stealth * Meeting customer needs and addressing customer service issues promptly * Proactively communicating with customers and team membersThe Tier I Technician will work with other Field Service and Remote Support Technicians to address service and installation related issues across the region.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Repair, replace and maintain low-voltage equipment at customer locations:* IP and analog cameras (Axis, Avigilon, Geovision, Hikvision, etc..)* Video management software (Luxriot, Avigilon, Geovision, etc...)* Windows based DVR/ NVR servers * Access Control Systems (Feenics, etc..)* Intrusion Systems (DMP, etc..)* Audio systems and amplifiers (Axis, Barix SIP devices, etc..)* Switches, Routers, Power supplies, Power Distribution Units, UPS systems * Cat5 / BNC cable termination (Compression and Crimp)* Integrating equipment onto customer and company proprietary networks * Wireless access point equipment (Ubiquiti, etc..)* Maintain accurate inventory and document field activitiesQUALIFICATIONS:* High School or GED required. Additional formal training and certifications in related fields a strong plus * Basic understanding of computer networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Gateways, routers, switches. * Basic understanding in the use and applications of Access Control, Intrusion and Video Systems. * Basic understanding in the deployment of Video Surveillance Systems. * Working knowledge of electronic and digital test equipment such as multi-meters, and digital cable analyzers. * Basic understanding of Network concepts and architectures. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals. * Ability to work overtime, alternate shifts, weekends and participate in a 24/7 on call rotation * Basic skills with Microsoft Office * Ability to travel (if needed)WORK STYLE:* Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented; ability to multi-task * Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with change, delays, or unexpected events * Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfullyBENEFITS INFORMATION:Stealth Monitoring offers great benefits such as: * Medical Insurance* HSA (Health Savings Account)* FSA (Flexible Spending Account)* Dental * Vision * Life Insurance* 401K Plan* PTO (Vacation, Sick, Bereavement, Go 2 Days)* And more!Candidate must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation -- no criminal records.
