Customer Service Agents will be scheduled to work a shift between 20 to 40 hours per week.

All Customer Service Agents are required to work consistently in public areas and be able to understand and respond to a variety of questions about travel information. Additionally, you may be responsible for escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport. This position requires standing for long periods of time.

Customer Service Agents serving as a Ticket Agent are the first to greet our customers to guide and assist them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process. You will:

  • Greet customers to guide and assist them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process.

  • Use a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets.

  • Manage the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper travel documentation.

  • Tag baggage and perform lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts.

  • Several other lifting tasks will involve handling items as low as floor level and as high as waist level.

  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Customer Service Agents serving as a Gate Agent help our customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding. You will:

  • Use computers to assist customers with seat availability, make gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and initiating the boarding process.

  • Operate jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lift, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors.

  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.

  • High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must be proficient in English.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation.

  • Possess basic computer skills.

  • Must successfully pass a Customer Service Assessment.

  • Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds.

  • Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.

  • Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test.

  • Must be able to pass an extensive post-offer pre-employment background check, including fingerprinting and a criminal history record check required by federal law.

  • Be authorized to work in the US.

Guests feel it; you'll feel it too.</p><p>What You'll Do</p><p>The Guest Service Agent is responsible for registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service all the while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way. You'll act as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.</p><p>Some of your responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p>Review arrivals noting special requests, blocking rooms as needed.</p></li><li><p>Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.</p></li><li><p>Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.</p></li><li><p>Complete all items on appropriate (AM, PM, Overnight) checklist by end of shift.</p></li><li><p>Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, which includes VIPS, repeat guests, all packages, and any special requests.</p></li><li><p>Follow established key control policy.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper credit policies are followed.</p></li><li><p>Submit all lost &amp; found articles accompanied by a completed lost &amp; found report.</p></li><li><p>Open, secure, and balance out daily shift bank which involves counting and verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions occurring while on duty.</p></li><li><p>Verify credit limit report.</p></li><li><p>Monitor room availability throughout the day.</p></li><li><p>Review daily the selling status of the hotel using yield management system.</p></li><li><p>Attend department meeting once a month.</p></li><li><p>Communicate by telephone and/or radio with other departments: Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet.</p></li></ul><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.</p></li><li><p>Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.</p></li><li><p>Work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time.</p></li><li><p>Familiar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter in information accurately.</p></li></ul><p>Differences make a difference.
