Overview

Utah State University is currently seeking candidates for an Account Executive in Ticket Sales and Service (Sales Representative). The position reports to the Director of Ticket Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Sell football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, women's soccer, and softball tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and other event related products

  • Call current and past customers and cold-call new sales leads to generate sales

  • Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, make in-person appointments, and attend networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans, and group ticket plans

  • Work some home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties throughout the game

  • Provide excellent customer service to build relationships for repeat business

  • Recognize future sales opportunities

  • Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers

  • Pursue prospective customers

  • Manage multiple relationships well

  • Build rapport with customers and prospects

  • Provide superior customer service to clients throughout the season

  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals that are established by management

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships

  • Effectively express ideas verbally and in writing

  • Maintain a flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience in ticket sales

  • Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Have a friendly and professional telephone manner

  • Display an outstanding ability to listen well

  • Work well in a team environment

  • Independently take action beyond what is called for

  • Be able to generate original and imaginative solutions to business opportunities

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude
