POSITION SUMMARY: To help supervise all activities of the three graces ensure guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include, but are not limited to the following:
Circulates through each area to ensure guest satisfaction. Sincerely seeks guest comments and quickly and willingly handles any complaints.
Performs human resource functions for staff, including scheduling, evaluating, and training staff.
Monitors the profitability of areas to ensure quality and portion control while minimizing waste and broken or lost supplies.
Maintains cleanliness of the Club and Resort through direct visual inspection continually during all hours of operation.
Supervises the food and beverage services to ensure consistency and member satisfaction.
Assists in taking inventories, purchasing necessary supplies, and controlling their distribution.
Receives and resolves complaints concerning food, beverages, and service.
Inspects food products to ensure quality, quantity, and palatability guidelines are followed.
Will be trained as server, food runner and bartender to be able to step into any position as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This employee supervises subordinate dining room and lounge service staff. They are responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems and informing the AM/PM Dining Room Manager as applicable.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience and/or training is required.
The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is a requirement for this position. They must also be able to write routine reports, correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of members, guests or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This employee must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. They must also have the ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. The ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance is required.
REASONING ABILITY: This employee must have a common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. They also must to have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: The requirements listed below are highly required for this position:
Current Food Handler's Certificate / Card
Alcohol Server Certification
Able to operate the POS system; Jonas knowledge a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
