Responsibilities

As an Advanced Threat Prevention Sales Specialist with Check Point, you will have the exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth for Check Point's latest technologies within an assigned geographic region. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert focused on developing, selling and closing revenue opportunities around Check Point's Advanced Threat Solutions for both large and small customers.Meet or exceed revenue expectations on a quarterly basis

  • Develop sales plans around Check Point's Threat Prevention technologies

  • Grow & manage the advanced threat sales pipeline by engaging with internal account teams, customer prospects and key partners

  • Understand and navigate customer buying procedures and potential roadblocks

  • Maintain an accurate forecast of business opportunities and bookings

  • Prepare and give business reviews to the management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers

  • Increase awareness of Check Point's solutions in the market place through direct contacts with Partners, Resellers, Large Accounts and Technology Consultants

  • Ensure an active presence at relevant industry Trade Shows and Check Point organized events

  • Be a thought leader and spokesperson for Advanced Threat Prevention and an executive relationship builder

Desired Background

  • 5+ years of cyber security sales experience

  • Expertise in Breach Detection Systems (BDS) or Advanced Threat Prevention (ATP) solutions preferred

  • 'Whatever it takes' attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop/execute corresponding objectives

  • Strong verbal and written communications, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

  • A proven track record in consultative selling and over-achievement of goals

  • Experience with interfacing at "C" level contacts

  • Detailed understanding of complex and large business organizations and their buying cycles

  • College Degree or equivalent

Customer centric and advocates for customers in all trade area stores & online. Locally based, spending more time in store, focused on the "right" assortment. Functions as a strategic volume and margin partner to SVPGM. Uses standardized communication to support clarity of expectations, maximized productivity and flawless execution. Essential Functions: Merchant Strategy * Informs long range merchandise planning strategy to maximize volume opportunities for TA/Market. * Ensures communication of all seasonal merchandise strategies and application by location. * Calls-out issues related to visual merchandising execution or content gaps to the appropriate store or central partners respectively. * Develop productive relationships with merchants and vendors at all appropriate levels including GMM's and Principals. Business Analysis * Monitors sales performance for all stores/FOBs in the Trade Area/Market and advises the SVPGM on deficiencies.
