CACI is seeking a cleared Threat Analyst in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. If you are looking for a position that is critical to national defense missions, CACI would like to speak with you.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Support development software reprogramming requirements for the AN/APR-39 and AN/APR-48 Radar Signal Detection Systems (RSDS) found onboard Army aviation platforms such as the UH-60 Blackhawk and AH-64 Apache helicopters.

  • Analyze the Order of Battle (OB) and extract weapon system and emitter information to create a prioritized list of threats to be reprogrammed into MDS software.

  • Develop MDS reprogramming and simulation requirements in the form of a Threat Analysis Specification (TAS) to meet emerging threats.

  • Critically analyze and review results of tests against developmental MDS programming to confirm system threat detection requirements from the TAS are met. Conduct Verification and Validation tests of MDS programming before it is released to the field.

  • Develop Aviator Product documentation for aircrew such as Kneeboard Cards and Pertinent Notes.

  • Conduct analysis of new threats to aviators in the field and write System Impact Messages that detail indications of the threat relevant to their ASE.

  • Perform independent reviews of intelligence briefings, reports and information/issue papers produced by Service Production Centers.

More About the Role:

This role will be within Program Office (ARAT-PO) to provide support services to the Threat Analysis (TA) Branch within ARAT-PO. The Threat Analyst shall be responsible for supporting the development of Mission Data Set (MDS) software for the ARAT-TA Branch through analysis of air defense systems, as well as to provide intelligence data and threat information for Aircraft Survivability Equipment and Electronic Warfare systems fielded to the US Army.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • A BS/MS degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.

  • Prior applicable military experience in Electronic Warfare, specifically with air defense systems.

  • Experience and knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems such as the US Army Aircraft Survivability Equipment systems like the AN/APR-39 and AN/APR-48.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.

  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to independently conduct research and gather information related to threats and intelligence data.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Ability to write software in any of the following languages: C, C++, C#, JAVA, VBA, PYTHON, JYTHON, or VBA.

  • Knowledge in intelligence data such EWIR, CED, ELINT, and AFTTP.

  • Experience and knowledge of RF modeling and simulation.

Responsibilities: * Provide general military intelligence analysis and organizational expertise dealing with threats to the US Army/DoD interests worldwide * Conduct all-source research and threat analysis of CI, CT, force protection, and information operations of foreign military forces and their operations, capabilities, activities and trends to support all-source intelligence and threat production, particularly in the areas of threats to US Army and DoD equities * Provide support to CI investigation through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community * Provide record checks, data research and social networking analysis through the use of intelligence and law enforcement databases and search engines * Provide in-depth research regarding biographical intelligence in order to aid investigations, support subject interviews, and case development * Conduct research using social networking tools, digital mapping programs, and law enforcement database and research tools, to include Open Source (OSINT) and classified searches * Analyze intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications through comprehensive knowledge of intelligence threat analysis to include forecasting and/or other analytical methodologies * Analyze terrorist and FIE threats to US Army Forces, programs and operations * Provide recommendations on techniques and innovative methods employed in threat analysis and protection * Research and analyze military, political, economic, technical and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments * Identify intelligence gaps and assist in the development of intelligence collection programs * Advise team leaders and chain of command on intelligence findings * Plan, coordinate, and synthesize research to prepare all-source intelligence products and responses * Ensure products fulfill DA, DoD, and national - level intelligence requirements * Brief intelligence assessments and positions to senior Battalion Army and civilian personnel * Develop recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of SOPs for assigned tasks * Conduct all tasks in support of operations under AR 381-20 * Assess information from the IC-wide reporting elements to de-conflict information, identify the value of reporting, assess whether the information addresses requirements and contribute to collection * Produce technical analysis white papers and presentations in support of ongoing investigations to identify intelligence gaps and leads for investigations * Provide analytical updates to the Command Group on major investigations * Produce analysis white papers and presentations from historical investigations * Conduct investigative trend analysis in order to allow Government leadership to focus investigative resources * Produce analytical information reports from reviews of investigative and IC database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations and insider threat reports * Produce analytical information reports from reviews of Law Enforcement database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations, FIE and insider threat reports Requirements: * ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance required.
