Job Description:

At Regions, the Risk Analyst performs intermediate risk analyst duties.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Solves a range of straightforward problems and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures

  • Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Five (5) years experience

The Due Diligence and Ongoing Monitoring Analyst within Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) plays a pivotal as a second line of defense in supporting program stakeholders by providing guidance on the Third Party program and framework, specifically, Due Diligence Assessments, activities within the Ongoing Monitoring phase of the program, and reporting on program activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conducts moderately complex identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting

Designs, develops, and reports independent analyses that provide greater insight into risk exposures and mitigation efforts

Enhances team processes, and updates policies and procedures to reflect improvements

Participates in the team's preparation and involvement in regulatory examinations, which may include the annual Federal Reserve stress tests, examinations, etc.

Stays well informed of regulatory and industry practices

Solves a range of problems and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures

Builds advanced knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers

May serve on related working groups

Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on the execution of an effective TPRM program

Perform effective Country and Fourth Party Risk Assessments consistently against the documented methodology

Identify issues within the Country and Fourth Party Assessments and escalate timely

Aid in creation of process procedures and challenge existing procedures to drive efficiency

Documentation of Program Findings in accordance with the documented methodology and Framework.

Adhere to the applicable SLAs

Provide Administrative Support to Business Units with Ongoing Monitoring (OGM) process, including oversight of the OGM scorecards and termination TPQs with identification of issues and escalation matters.

Primary Responsibilities: * Oversees the day-to-day identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting * Designs, develops, and reports independent analyses that provide greater insight into risk exposures and mitigation efforts * Enhances team processes, and updates policies and procedures to reflect improvements * Leads in the team's preparation and involvement in regulatory examinations * Stays well informed of regulatory and industry practices and alerts team of updates * Solves a range of standard-complex problems and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures * Works towards mastery of knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers * May serve on related working groups * Considered subject matter expert in associated risk and risk management methodology * Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on the execution of an effective TPRM program * Aid in creation of process procedures and challenge existing procedures to drive efficiency * Documentation of Program Findings in accordance with the documented methodology and Framework. * Maintain schedule and drive discussion points for Vendor Engagement Meetings/Cross Functional Working Groups * Provide Administrative Support to Business Units with Ongoing Monitoring (OGM) process, including oversight of the OGM scorecards and termination TPQs with identification of issues and escalation matters. * Drive report creation from the Archer eGRC Platform and delivery of team presentations and deliverables to stakeholders, specifically Vendor Engagement Summaries, Business Risk Committees and Third Party Risk Oversight Committee. * Solve a range of straightforward problems and consistently provides possible solutions * Aid in design, creation and delivery of TPRM stakeholder annual training * Contribute to the design and review of new tools and systems while leading teams through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data validation. * Obtain and maintain necessary training to keep current on the discipline of Third Party Risk Management Skills and Competencies: * Advanced knowledge of fundamental risk theories, principles, and concepts * Ability to coordinate with team members to gather and analyze data * Advanced oral and written communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Exceptional time management skills * Self starter with the ability to work independently * Analytical thinker with the ability to transfer ideas and best practices between projects * Ability to develop and communicate a point of view on responsibilities or issues that arise * Effective Communicator with the ability to demonstrate command of the TPRM program * Ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders (Business Units and SMEs) Location:Birmingham, Alabama EEO/AA/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans Regions Financial Corporation Birmingham AL
