This position will serve as a legal specialist in Change Healthcare's Third Party Liability department.

Legal specialists' duties include a variety of administrative and legal tasks related to their primarily responsibility of obtaining/maintaining eligibility data feeds with commercial, government, and other insurance carriers. Under limited supervision, Legal specialists research potential eligibility data sources, identify appropriate contacts, and initiate the data sharing process. Legal specialists act as facilitators throughout the data sharing process, acting as project managers and liaisons between relevant stakeholders and proactively resolving roadblocks. Legal specialists are typically responsible for managing data relationships between Change Healthcare and ~200 carriers.

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Ability to interpret/research state and federal laws

  • Ability to adapt to the significant and frequent changes of the healthcare market

  • Ability to work within a team environment with a positive attitude

  • Strong investigative skills with detail orientation

  • Strong multi-tasking ability

  • Proficiency with time and workload management

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency Microsoft Windows and Office products (esp. Word and Excel)

  • Overtime may be required based on operational need

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or paralegal certification, and 3+ years' work experience with legal support

  • Background in government and/or commercial insurance healthcare coverage is a plus

  • Must successfully pass a background check

Location: Nashville TN, Alpharetta, GA, Lombard, Il, Norwell, MA or remote Position Description: The Product Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and tracking multiple projects for the Third Party Liability (TPL) business, focusing on agile-based software development, capital fund management, and new product innovation. The Product Manager will be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects in a fast-paced environment including several cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: * Product Design – The ability to define the vision of new products and hold technology team accountable for delivering on the vision. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to define product scope, objectives, and technical feasibility; ensure appropriate resource availability and allocation; develop and maintain detailed product plans; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; perform ongoing risk assessment analyses * Capital Funding Management – Work closely with business leaders to size and price development initiatives; create and maintain necessary capital funding request support documentation; handle day-to-day processes for capital fund tracking; ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget * Documentation Management – Create and maintain detailed documentation relevant to software development and other projects; develop and present visuals for process flows, timelines, assumptions, constraints, etc.; assist with the creation of other high and/or low-level business and system documentation, as needed * Agile Development Lead – Lead requirements gathering sessions; create and maintain user stories; serve as a single point of contact between business and IT stakeholders; set and maintain development priorities; proactively identify and remove roadblocks; ensure regular and timely production of deliverables * UAT Lead – Create and maintain acceptance criteria; Ability to verify / accept work produced by IT team performing some QA functions; organizing UAT with relevant stakeholders Minimum Requirements: * 3+ years project / product management experience * Balanced business/technical abilities * Technical background to provide credible leadership to development teams and accurately evaluate complex project risks and issues * Ability to collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value * Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands * Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: * Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Cloud Coach, etc. * Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools * Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level Additional Knowledge & Skills: * Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred * Experience with UI/UX development is a plus * Knowledge of database (Oracle, SQL SERVER) fundamentals, AWS capabilities preferred Education / Training: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare Physical Requirements: * Environment – Office environment, up to minimal travel required. * Physical Requirements – Sitting, standing, walking, and using key board.
