This first shift position is located at the Arconic Research Center in Whitehall, MI.
As a Thermocouple Technician, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Calibrate and process thermocouples
Serialize thermocouple plugs using an engraving machine
Will provide backup support to the Shipping and Receiving clerk, which include packaging, addressing, verifying incoming material, and arranging for the transportation of products.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of two years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Successfully meet the standardized PreVisor testing requirements. If applicant possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
Associates Degree in Electronics or similar training
Experience in electronics and electrical troubleshooting
Experience working with hand tools
Shipping and receiving experience is preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills
PC literate in Word/Excel/Outlook
Problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
