Therapist/Case Managers IP NL/ Psychiatric Hospital/ Days/Full-Time

Overview Provides psychosocial evaluation; treatment planning; individual, group and family therapies; patient and family education; and coordination of discharge and follow up services. Responsible for assuring compliance with Florida Mental Health Law, AHCA and JCAHO.

Works closely with other members of interdisciplinary treatment team. Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Master's degree in nursing, social work (MSW) or other related field from accredited university required.

Post graduate experience in psychiatric treatment preferred. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position:

Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form at the time a RFP is submitted to post the position.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: If qualified as RN with MSN, Florida license as RN required. If qualified as clinical social worker, mental health counselor, marriage or family therapist, must be license eligible.
