Our transport team is specifically trained in neonatal and pediatric transport medicine and has been providing support to physicians and healthcare facilities throughout Missouri and Kansas, as well as nationally and internationally, since 1971. Completing nearly 5300 transports annually, our team is a leader in critical care transport. A specialty registered nurse registered respiratory therapist, and emergency medical technician/ paramedic make up the dedicated crew for each transport. Our continued commitment to excellence in transport medicine has earned our team national and international recognition, including the honor of Neonatal/Pediatric Transport Award of Excellence from the Association of Air Medical Services. Our communication center is staffed with certified flight communication specialists ready to assist you at all times. The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services (CAMTS) accredits our program in three modes of transport: ground, rotor wing, and fixed wing. Multiple teams are available 24 hours a day, ready for immediate dispatch.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to the high risk or critically ill patient during transport Assess and stabilize the patient Thorough knowledge of resuscitation measures Thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance of transport equipment Work as a team member Support a teamwork philosophy

Job Requirements:
Associate#s Degree or equivalent 3 years critical care experience Experience needs to include at least one year pediatric and/or neonatal critical care Prior work as a respiratory therapist would qualify as related work experience Registered Respiratory Therapist Credentials Current Professional Respiratory Care Practitioner License in Kansas and Missouri BLS PALS required within 6 months NRP required within 1 year TNACT required within 1 year ACLS required within 1 year Air Medical Safety required within 1 year Passport required within 1 year PC Skills EEO Employer/Disabled/Vet
