ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide and document psychotherapy services to patient as scheduled.

Conduct individual, group or family therapy sessions as appropriate for treatment plan of the patient.

Provide initial treatment planning for patient based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed, revising as necessary.

Maintain documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards and revising as indicated by facility or professional standard.

Maintain a caseload as assigned.

Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patient, as appropriate to their treatment plan.

May provide these services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.

May perform case management, discharge or after care planning as needed.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree in Social Work or Human Services field from an accredited college or university. One to two years' experience working with comparable patient population.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

Requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers or eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider.

First Aid, CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)

ADDITIONAL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience/Skills Requirement: An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may be substituted as appropriate that will result in the knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.

Licenses/Designations/Certifications: Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure preferred.

Experience may be considered as substitute for license. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Our team of interdisciplinary code professionals work collaboratively to assure designs comply with all requirements of the international codes. Our history with local and regional jurisdictions and tribal governments includes plan review, field inspection, and interim building official. The Residential Plans Examiner is responsible for approving moderate to complex projects such as new construction and remodels of residential structures based on applicable codes, ordinances, and administrative directives which are enforced by the jurisdictions that Stantec Consulting Services provides services. This includes reading, interpreting, and approving plans and specifications; working directly with applicants, developers, contractors, and owner to resolve issues to gain code compliance in all international codes; researching and understanding construction methods, product applications, and code requirements; evaluating compliance based upon the specific conditions of each construction project, including the scope of work to be performed, nature of work, age of existing building, codes applicable during the original construction, and present code requirements; and maintaining paperwork and files in the office. Your Key Responsibilities * Reviewing plans, structural and energy calculations, product specifications, and other project submittals for design conformance and code compliance. * Communicating design and code nonconformance issues and approvals via phone, email, and written correspondence. * Organizing and maintaining project records, calculating project and client fees, denoting approved and denied project submittals, and learning and using client-based software applications. * Researches and enters technical data as required for sites, permits, or plans information into Word documents, various client software programs, and Microsoft Office files. * Writing corrections and problem-solving with design teams, contractors, developers, owners, and clients. * Creating and maintaining internal and external plan review records. * Advises applicants when deficiencies are discovered regarding client processes, review times, expedited reviews, and alternate review options. * Maintaining code knowledge through code update research and attendance at continuing education seminars and classes. * Assists Project Manager Assistant and department management in technical and customer problem resolutions for all projects. * Desired candidates prioritize customer service, integrity, and a commitment to support growth and profitability. Your Capabilities and Credentials * Knowledge of: * IRC, IBC, IMC, IPC, IFGC, IECC, and NEC codes, ordinances, and directives, including building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and energy as applied to residential projects. * Various construction materials and methods and stages of construction. * Mathematical principles required to perform related technical calculations. * Microsoft Office at a proficient level. * Ability to: * Cooperate with internal and external Stantec clients and the public. * Read and accurately interpret plans and specifications. * Objectively interpret and consistently apply code requirements and related standards in accordance with department policies. * Draw or letter charts, schedules, graphs, maps, or similar objects. * Measure dimensions using engineer's and architect's scales. * Use graphic instructions, such as blueprints, plans, schematic drawings, or other visual aids. * Comprehend and make inferences from written material. * Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others. * Additional Requirements: * Must possess the following certifications: ICC Residential Plans Examiner OR ICC Residential Inspector * Shall obtain at least one other ICC residential inspection certification in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical within a year. * Driver's license with satisfactory driving record required. Education and Experience Minimum of a high school diploma and two (2) years of experience reviewing plans, specifications, and other data to ensure proposed construction conforms to building, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical codes, ordinance, and related regulations. Other combinations of experience and education meeting the minimum requirements may be substituted. Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
