Situated approximately 15 miles between Victoria and Goliad, the Devereux-Victoria campus sits serenely on 400 wooded acres dotted with vibrant wildflowers and native Texas wildlife. It is in this calm and tranquil setting that a therapeutic environment exits for children and adults with severe psychological, behavioral, and/or developmental problems. We provide a comprehensive mental health and chemical dependency treatment system providing a complete range of services for children, adolescents and adults. Our career opportunities include working with our clients via a broad spectrum of treatment settings, including residential treatment, assisted living, educational programs, community-based homes and apartments, vocational training, life skills, and foster care homes. You will function as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and assist in providing care and treatment that is appropriate to the ages and population served, specifically children.

Requirements

To qualify, we require:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related clinical discipline.

  • Valid LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCADC or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.

  • Two years of working with youth and/or families.

  • One year of clinical work in a behavioral health setting.

  • Experience providing in-community treatment preferred.

  • Access to a computer and other office equipment (ie. fax or scanner) to submit required documentation and paperwork.

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • High level of initiative, accountability and professionalism.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to multi task and be deadline driven.
