What would you do as a Therapeutic Coaching Team Lead- Canandaigua

As the In-Home Therapeutic Coaching Team Leader at START/CSIDD and The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, you will play a pivotal role as a clinical consultant to the START Team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement innovative clinical programming tailored for assigned START Coordinators and in-home supports. This position empowers you to leverage your expertise in therapeutic practices while guiding the delivery of high-quality services to individuals in need.

What matters most

To excel as the In-Home Therapeutic Coaching Team Leader at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler, a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Services field is essential. You should bring at least two years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic programming, particularly for those with challenging behaviors. Familiarity with various clinical tools and methodologies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Additionally, you must be prepared to meet all Coordinator Certification competencies and obtain certification within 12 months of employment, showcasing your commitment to professional development. These skills, combined with your empathetic and problem-solving mindset, will be crucial in leading a successful team and providing impactful support to those we serve.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are- Master's Degree in Psychology/Social Work, Counseling or another Human Services field.

Two years' experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

Experience in therapeutic programming for individuals with challenging behavior. Must be able to meet all Coordinator Certification competencies and obtain certification within 12 months of employment
