Working Hours/Shift:

8 Hours AM shift

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

• Enrolled in an accredited BA, BS, program in the mental health field

• Valid California Driver's License.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The Therapeutic Behavioral Services Intern is responsible for working with children in placement to provide a large variety of services ranging from behavior management, crisis intervention, self help skill building, and other services as needed to provide "whatever it takes" to make a successful placement for the child. The Support Counselor Trainee works under the supervision of the TBS Coordinator and is a part of the child's treatment team.

Division/Program Overview:

• Works with clients ages 5-21.

• Community, school, and home-based services.

• Work as part of a team, with different programs.

• Focus on replacing or extinguishing behaviors.
