POSITION PURPOSE: To be an artist of drinks and making conversations that give the ability to build lasting connections by serving beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers, preparing beverages to standard.
Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.
Must have good speaking skills, maintaining composure and etiquette.
Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
Ascertain guest satisfaction; in the event of dissatisfaction, tactfully negotiate accommodation.
Comply with accounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, cash drawer and house bank management.
Balance house bank at the end of the shift. Retrieves returns bank from vault to workstation and return, to ensure accountability.
Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard outlet cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, count total bank, prepare cash drops, and total all other charges.
Ability to effectively deal with and resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate check total.
Ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand menus and special promotions, and communicate with guests.
Ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale procedures to handle cashier functions.
Ability to sit and/or stand and work continually in confined spaces.
No prior experience required. Prior hospitality and cashiering experience preferred.
Ability to learn all menu items.
Ability to provide customers with prompt service.
Ability to learn up selling techniques.
Ability to uphold all departmental guidelines.
Ability to self-motivate during slow periods.
Ability to multi-task.
