Position Summary Texas Oncology is searching for a Sr. Oncology Liaison.
The Sr. Oncology Liaison applies consultative selling skills, creates effective business relationships to increase oncology & hematology new patient Physician Referrals in order to achieve annual territory organic growth goals. Job Details: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform marketing and sales activities for an assigned geographic area to achieve or exceed assigned objectives. Using consultative selling skills, initiates contact with non-oncology physicians and key staff to engage customers, source needs, and recommend service solutions in order to market USON affiliated Practice oncology services and increase the number of new oncology patient referrals.
Establish and maintain strong long-term relationships with referring physicians in the territory. Identifies, develops, and implements sales, marketing, and outreach plans, presentations, and strategies designed to develop incremental referrals, new referral relationships, and meet customer needs.
Develops a thorough understanding of regional business conditions relating to the industry, competition, and relevant business trends. Identifies future growth opportunities for new services.
Relays physician feedback and market trends data to practice leadership. Recommends and executes complex/unusual business solutions to resolve market and/or customer issues
Works collaboratively with practice physicians and practice leadership in identifying and facilitating referring physician and community based sales or outreach activities. Identifies future growth opportunities for new services.
Works with practice management team to ensure timely resolution based on customer feedback. Recommends business solutions to resolve market and/or customer issues.
Responsible for ensuring the efficient adherence to certain administrative duties, including timely completion of expense reports, use of automation tools such as CRM, detailed sales metric reporting and analysis, and business planning. Responsible for managing travel expenses within guidelines and budget.
Other duties as assigned. May train coworkers on CRM, regulations, and procedures.
Bachelors degree in business, health or equivalent required. At least seven (7) years healthcare industry service sales experience with a proven sales record of successful relationships required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and databases.
Proven ability to be successful with a consultative selling model.
Ability to understand business intelligence reporting and impact of growth initiatives on practices financial viability.
Proven ability to prioritize opportunities and convert it into a successful strategy for developing and maintaining existing business.
Excellent presentation and relationship skills.

Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients.
