Lab Coordinator/Test Engineer to be part of the Whole Life Engineering Center (WLEC) North Building Lab Support Team. The Lab Coordinator/Test Engineer will be responsible for the management of Engineering Labs located within the Dallas site. Engineering Labs support RF testing for APC development programs.
Duties include asset management (coordination of inventory, equipment moves, security tasks, and calibration services), coordination and execution of safety requirements, 6S audits, safety audits, audit action closure, and ESD certifications. Responsibilities also include maintaining and standardizing lab supplies, test equipment, consumables, following security procedures, safety and housekeeping in multiple labs. The lab coordinator will ensure lab personnel shall operate to standard lab run rules and applicable Raytheon policies within the lab, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality controls, 6S, FOD/FOE, Equipment Calibration, Raytheon Property Controls, ESD controls, Housekeeping, Shelf-life Controls, Preventative Maintenance, and Ergonomics. This position also requires the ability to set up and test various RF development products.
2+ years of related work experience
Experience as a lab and equipment coordinator
Knowledgeable in lab safety and 6S (Housekeeping)
Demonstrated leadership, well-organized, able to direct the work of others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work well with others and on teams.
Experience with RF/MW test equipment such as signal sources, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and noise figure meters
Basic understanding of RF and electrical testing PNA-X, 8510, TOI, Load Pull, Pulsed Power, Noise Figure, Timing Measurements, oscilloscope
Knowledge of microwave network measurement processes and basic theory
Data analysis and troubleshooting skills, preferably for RF products.
Ability to obtain DoD security clearance
Lab and asset management systems experience (Aramis, UPS, Recall, and AIMS)
Knowledge of Raytheon and SAS lab run rules, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of ESD Controls (Garment control, wrist straps, SSWS, and monitoring)
Test hardware assembly, integration, calibration and troubleshooting experience
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) including Excel macros
Windows CVI, HTML, C++
Highly motivated self-starter; Can work independently with a minimum of supervision
Bachelor degree in engineering, science, mathematics or related technical degree
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
