This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. The primary purpose of the Testing Coordinator is to provide testing support services for faculty, students, military personnel, and the community. This position will provide guidance, routine direction, daily supervision, training, and advisement to testing center personnel (full-time testing coordinator(s), temporary staff, and graduate/undergraduate student workers) regarding testing policies, procedures, and expected outcomes. This position will provide administrative support to the Director Testing Services.

Education & Formal Training Bachelor's degree (Specify field(s) of study below), Education/Experience substitution (specify) Other Education & Formal Training Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Other - Banner preferred. Experience

1.One (1) year of customer service or related office experience required.

2.Experience in test administration or related operation strongly preferred.

3.Work/experience in a college/university environment strongly preferred.

Other Experience Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Criminal History check, Driver's license Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements

Requires additional background test to conduct FAA & FCC testing.

Ability to learn, explain, and maintain current knowledge of University, college and departmental policies and procedures.

Ability to speak English fluently.

Ability to work with highly confidential test material and student data on a daily basis.

Ability to maintain test security; adhere to strict standardized test procedures.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to interact with students and discern their needs in a professional manner.

Ability to work with frequent interruptions.

Ability to learn and adhere to National College Test Association as well as test company policies and procedures.

Ease with standing in front of a group, speaking and reading in public, giving instruction, and directing strangers through an anxiety producing experience. Ability to make nervous test-takers relax and focus.

Travel required as needed to attend test company training seminars, workshops, conferences & manage testing at both locations.

Irregular work hours - in early / stay late contingent on testing schedule, as well as maintain communication with Director and test proctors. Evening and weekend work may be required (supervise/proctor tests).

Become certified to administer all exams offered by Testing Services within three months of employment.
